Dr. Jilinda Lewis

Growing up in rural Oregon Jilinda has always had a love for animals. In veterinary school at Oregon State University she developed an interest in all things surgical. After graduating she began practicing at a then Mixed Animal Practice (Ark Animal Hospital in Philomath) which became exclusively small animal over time. Surgery was always the most interesting part of practice for her. Consequently, in 2009 she elected to do a one-year surgical internship at a surgery only specialty center in Reno, NV. With extensive training in advanced surgical procedures Dr. Lewis enjoys helping pets and their families live better lives. Dr. Lewis also enjoys helping new veterinarians learn surgical and clinical skills and spends time working with new graduates and fourth year students to build their skills in veterinary medicine. She is excited to bring these skills to patients at Willamette Veterinary Hospital in the coming years.
